Fine, but not agreeing with all the negativity really doesn't mean that we're happy with being mediocre, just because the whining, b!tching and moaning aren't there doesn't mean you care more. You don't. Not being nasty/negative about them all the time isn't a sign of weakness.

I hate that thought process.

Face it DB, we suck.

7-5 and an a half an inch from a TD at EMU that makes us 8-4, and a field goal and a questionable call on Winchester from being 9-3. I don't think "sucks" is an accurate measure of this team.

Give me a break. You deal more in the coulda, shoulda, woulda than anyone I have ever seen. They are what their record says they are, and that is an average MAC team. People around here might be cool with that, but I would like them to be better. I just dont get it with the excuses all the time.

You know why they didn't get the 1/2 yard? They weren't able to push a pathetic EMU program around like they should of. They had a whole game to do that, and they didn't.

You know why Winchester got the personal foul? Because they are undisciplined.

Take a look at the bottom line once in a while. It will help you with reality.

You're right they don't suck. They are just, once again, very mediocre.

Said it better than I could have. Underachieving sucks. I don't agree with the sentiment that the team sucks. That would be Akron.

While I'm not all that enamored with EMU and convinced that they have turned the corner for the forseeable future they are not nearly as bad as in past years. No doubt it was a bad and impactful loss for us.

Regardless of Eastern's obvious improvement, with expectations we had this Fall it's a bad loss.

Losing at NIU and at Toledo wouldn't be bad losses except for the fact we were utterly defenseless for large parts of both games.

I am not suggesting I care more. I was merely suggesting he step back, take a look at the program and realize it for what it is. If he keeps dealing in potential outcomes that didn't happen, the program is always going to be better than it is in his eyes. I am not trying to be negative, though it may come off that way, I am just trying to be realistic.

I disagreed last night with not running the ball on a possession. I disagree with the offense in general not being more balanced, not because it makes for more effective offense, but because it is hanging a young defense out to dry.

Message boards by nature are in existence to essentially allow fans to second guess. This isn't the only one.

It was a solid win on the road over another mediocre MAC team.
