MoState begins its annual bludgeoning of Arkansas
Destroys AState in Jonesboro 77-46. They've beaten us up there like that. Don't see them doing that at the Stephens Center. While it's real early, it looks like it may be a long year for the preseason Western Division champions.

I really shouldn't talk until we play MoState. They have drilled us in the past. But they lost 4 starters and their coach. Thought this was the year we could get them, especially at home. I guess we'll find out.

I am hoping for a win here. Mo valley in your jock defense usually kills Steve's teams. We have a couple of guards that can go against that kind of pressure.

WE played terrible. Mo State is good but not that good. We didn't look like a conference contender at all. We were selfish, didn't hustle , didn't execute in anyway. Coach Brady in the postgame shows always tells it like it is though. He said that we really need to do a lot of soul searching from a coaching standpoint and a players standpoint. He said we had a few players that didn't step up and play with the emotion they need to play and he said Trey is one of those and he's sitting right beside him while he says it. He doesn't beat around the bush, he tells it like it is. Things will probably change but if it doesn't we will be in bad shape. We turn the ball over way to much and didn't remember, basically we sucked in every phase.

I would think that with Brady and Williams on your bench, it will get turned around. I just can't see it turned around enough for you to win the West without Adams who I thought was a candidate for POY.

MoState will annihilate us just like they always do. Good team to get to play at the Jack, though. Nice get for the staff.

I'm not predicting a win, but we'll give them a good game.

I don't understand. A state is down a poy and trey is still hurt. Mo st lost a lot last year and has a new coach. We are far from a polished bunch but we are not going o gt crushed at home. We have a sr pg.

The only worry to me is the rebounding.

We don't play them until the 10th. That is 7 games from now or ten games into the season. We will know more by then. We play smu here and wsgb here in that time.

I just think they have our number. Good team or bad, they always crush us. Of course I hope I'm dead wrong

I think one reason they always clobbered us was that we didn't have the big men to compete with their big men. We have some size and some talented big men this season, which should be more of an equalizer. I'm not predicting a win, but if we keep improving game to game, we might just turn the tables on them.

I think you are right but I think this year is our best chance.
