OT Houston Nutt
Nutt says he wants one more job. I think someone will give it to him. He does good at turning programs around but over stays in the end?

I really think Memphis maybe able to pay him and that he can recruit the talent to win there. He always recruited lower end bcs talent at U of A for the most part, which would be the same kids you need to win with in non bcs football. I think he can still get those one or two nfl players to play for him that he always got at U of A too.

His recruiting classes always seemed to be pretty plain and have a cherry or two that gave unrealistic hope. Those same classes at Memphis could be enough to win cusa. Maybe even get the last laugh of a bcs bowl in a few years.

You may still be right. But yesterday's blow-out loss to LaTech didn't help his resume. His "rah rah" style only goes so far, but it may be just what a downtrodden program like Memphis needs. What is amazing to me is how accurate all the "crazies" on Hogville where who said he would have 2 good years at Ole Miss, with Orgeron's players, and then crash and burn.

In my opinion, if the Nutt had not gotten involved with the Mustain and Malzahn situations, he may still be the pig coach. He lost a lot of support over those two situations. He'd win six or eight every year, go to some off brand bowl game, and in the past that would have satisfied most pig fans, most years. In fact, Petrino had better keep winning nine or ten games a year now, or he'll be on their **** list. He's got their expectations too high up there now. He's got to continue to produce.
