I personally could give two shites if SMU, HOU, and UCF say adios. You did nothing to help us gain an advantage and laugh at the BE pontifs on this board that actually believe they are relevant to the rest of the nation. We have and always will be undervalued which makes us dangerous....most of us accept this.

Having personally witnessed victories over BYU in '74, FSU #3's opening day a**whoopin' at the hands of Favre, 19-17 death valley beating on Hallman's last yr at LSU, giving the Bear only one of two losses in Tuscaloosa, a standing O in Norman, etc (plenty more...do the due)...what more could a small town fan want....that is what makes our program great and gives us an edge that the big schools wish they had...Boise home and home, NEB home and home the next 4 yrs...they're not scared and neither are we....it's old school put up or shut up girls...I want the BE why?????? Hide where you can and pick on the nerds with lunch money...I choose the route of Goliath beater....the SEC won't play us anymore.....'nuff said

OT...can't wait for the Boise game next yr...you've owned us so far, and we lose our qb, many on D, and possibly coach....18 consecutive winning seasons to date....we will figure it out.

The Big East is needed to maintain control of the FBS division. They need greater than 50% of the teams to keep the power.

It is the other way around. The BE doesn't need USM. Who are speaking on behalf of? Are you representing CUSA?

I am one of the many in HBG that don't care who you take from us....we will continue with OUR tradition regardless of the eventual realignment outcome....I don't want you, your bs, or what you are now left with in fb...they left for a reason...they've always left us....if you guys were that good with your market you would be that good!

Yep, and there are 120 teams in FBS now, with at least 5 more schools announced to move up. In 5 years we'll likely be close to 130 schools.

How is that possible? Worst case (though not likely) the Big East loses AQ.

We trade games each year against UTEP, SMU, Rice, Tulane, and Tulsa for... Games Each year against Boise State, BYU, Air Force, SMU, and Louisville.

We will still play Rice OOC.

Plus Big East basketball on the schedule. How do you come out ahead?

Be supportive of your school. Make the best of your situation but don't for a second think that CUSA is better than the Big East AQ or not.
