I know Bit but i got ahead of myself & until wv gets their Defense 2gather, wv will win some & lose some...also, the remaining 5 teams of the big east will be trying to be the crap out of us each wk for our defection in 27 months..this is going 2 be arough ridebut we made the choice to leave
27 months?

And yes, every school in the Big East would have jumped to another conference, even USF.
Would they have left? Yes, obviously they were not actively talking to the Big XII just to say no. Leave the way in which WVU is trying to leave? Well let's just say it was probably the topping point in which team was selected for an invitation.

Seriously? Would every school have made the same choice if it meant actually suing the Big East in order to get out from under an agreement? I don't believe UofL, USF, or Cincy would have done so, and I won't believe otherwise until it actually happens.

Neither would Syracuse, Pitt, or UConn. Say what you will about the way in which they left, but when you compare it to how WVU has handled themselves, they are handling themselves with class on the way out.

Thanks, Louisville. You're pointed in the right direction.
Ok ....... Syracuse and WVU went down today. Can Cincinnati make it a clean sweep tonight?

I hope you were knocking on wood when you typed that. We're really in no position to tempt fate.

No question, Syracuse and Pitt left with honor while WVU has behaved dishonorably.
But the fact remains that every Big East football team would leave if invited by another AQ conference.

Congrats Cards! Great win. I think this is the worst WVU defense I can remember seeing in many, many years.

Awesome game! WV even though You're leaving us, we always loved the games we played all the way back to the Schnellenberger era in the old Cardinal stadium. Tailgating was a blast when you came here. Hopefully we can continue sometime in the future.

And you'll get 2 more: One next year in Louisville, and another one in 2013 in Morgantown. Cards will send you to Ken Starr's arms in 2014 with 2 more conference losses.

If you are leaving for the ACC what is the hurry?
How much of these lawsuits have been created by the BCS situation and the fact that perhaps keeping WVU's record in the BE for past and future seasons will help the BE keep their AQ?
Bring on a PLAYOFF!! I'm tired of this garbage.
