Daniel Braverman, big commitment!!
Two-star WR Daniel Braverman (Plantation, Fla./American Heritage) verbally commits to Western Michigan, Rivals.com reports.

Braverman also had offers from South Florida, Duke, Wake Forest, Miami-Ohio, Tulane, Toledo and Utah State.

The 5-10, 170-pound wideout can burn as he ran a combine verified 4.54 40-yard dash.

"I talk to numerous coaches on the staff, about three coaches, while for the other schools I talk to only one or two," Braverman said. "I've been talking with the head coach (Bill Cubit), the receivers coach (Josh Gattis), and the quarterbacks coach (Ryan Cubit). I talk with them every week. The coaches have just been telling me about how they intend to use me in the offense. He just made me feel good about going up there."

"The most important thing to me is the offense," Braverman said. "They are throwing the ball. They threw for 470 yards last week. They threw for 400 yards on Connecticut, which is a Big East team. I just feel they are a team on the rise and I can be a part of that. I feel I can get some exposure while I am up there. They have beaten some good teams and they hang close with others. They play good competition up there too."

I like to see a kid who does his homework. Sure we likely fed him those stats, but they're not the usual b.s. that coaches feed these kids.................."We love you, you'll start immediately, we send tons of guys to he NFL."

I don't think we fed him the UConn stats. We'd pad them for what they were close to: 500 yds, not 400.

It looks like he got the stats mixed up, probably an honest mistake on his part. We threw for around 470 against UConn, not last week. And we threw for around 400 last week, not against UConn.
