Blue chip de-commits from Notre Dame calls Syracuse
David Perkins was originally a heavy SU lean. He's from South Bend and when Notre Dame offered he jumped on it. This is the third blue chip recruit we went down the the wire with against Notre Dame and the third we've lost. 2 of them form our own backyard which hurts even more.

However, the Orange are striking back. David Perkins de-commited from Notre Dame the other day, to immediately contact Syracuse. Notre Dame wants him as a OLB, while Syracuse wants him as either a RB or WR.

Syracuse, LSU, Oregon, and Notre Dame are all in consideration for Perkins.

C'mon Marrone let's get our revenge and steal a blue chipper out of Notre Dame's backyard. 02-13-banana

If you're curious who the other two recruits who Notre Dame stole form us are they're Jarron Jones from Rochester, and Ishaq Williams from NYC.

Congratulations! If the ACC teams can simply keep the talent in the area (FL, GA, SC, NC, VA, MD, PA, NY, & MA) I'm convinced we're looking at national championship caliber football teams here.

Good luck with David Perkins. Hopefully, he will sign with Syracuse.

I think that is more likely than Oregon or LSU.

While I would love to have Perkins, Oregon supposedly has the inside track.

Cheers,

I doubt we land him, but if the coaches are excited, and think they have a shot at him, I'm excited. 02-13-banana

Do you know what position Oregon is recruiting him at? 04-cheers
