Why is this such a big deal? Why is deleting the thread causing such an uproar? I understand the man showed up on the front row and all, but that's a completely other thing. Who cares what Channel 3 does? As fans, you know he doesn't want his face plastered everywhere...What is wrong with respecting that?

Stop using that childish mantra "But they did it too! Go after them, not us!" Don't do it in the first place. You can rationalize all you want, but showing up in public at a basketball game does not mean he wants to be shown all over the internet. Because a TV channel captures him doesn't mean you automatically just broadcast him everywhere because they did it.

As fans, we should actually respect his wishes. The media, on the other hand, respects no one unless you're handing them some money.

For those of you who missed it:

I think it would be better for recruiting if he wore his gear.

I have complete respect for our mods, but this is a little over the top. Did Frank expressly request that his picture not be shown? He went on record saying the mask was worn to keep sand out of his eyes.

If someone took a candid pic of him without his permission and posted it here, I could understand it being deleted. But posting public information from a major local news outlet should be allowed. JMHO!
