What ticks me off!!!
Insult to injury! The only thing worse that the axing of the stadium is the axing of the stadium after we keep the Callaway clown for another year. "Those in the know" said we had to keep him to get our stadium. Well, we kept him and now look what's happened. Either we were fools to keep him without a firm deal being made or we were fools to believe those who made the deal. Either that or "those in the know" had no clue what they were talking about and we were fools enough to keep him for some other reasons. All roads lead to the same destination.

What probably happened was that Mackin and Garrison (and Margison - I don't know why he keeps getting left out of this)
I don't believe there was a quid pro quo.
People think Margison is the mutant of Mackin and Garrison, they don't know it's an actual human being.

What probably happened was that Mackin and Garrison (and Margison - I don't know why he keeps getting left out of this) did not want to go to the BOT with a request for a new coach and a stadium, so they decided to ask only for the stadium, gambling that with an experienced team returning, Callaway would be successful and get some of the heat off of him. The gamble came up double 00, and they lost everything.

Well at least now we are at least free to fire his fat butt. Oh...that's right! The BOT would have to let us spend the money to hire a decent coach. For $300,000 a year or less, and without a new stadium to lure decent recruits, we would have to hire a nobody because no one worth hiring is going to want to take over the program that Callaway ran into the dirt for that kind of money. We're screwed all the way around.

Still fire his ass. If they're going to pull the trigger than pull it now. The Briarwood Christian kids said he was a blazer regardless of the OCS issue.
Kick CNC ass to the kirb and let the BOT do what they feel and we'll do what we feel in the best interest of UAB.

Which is opposite of what should have happened. You need the coach first.

The team has enough talent to win. Good coaches have big egos, there are many top class young coaches minds that would take the job. I would take the new coach at West Alabama, and I bet the price would be in our range.

I've met Richard Margison, and can vouch that he is, in fact, real.
