Garrison standing unilaterally cannot do much. UAB students, faculty, and alumni standing together... that's another story. Garrison wouldn't be in the position she's in if she didn't know how to play the political game. She could stand tougher on this, but ultimately... the ONLY thing that would achieve is her termination.
