RE: Paging Garrison and Mackin
We have four ways to fight:

1. Public media
2. Attending the open-door BOT meeting in Tuscaloosa Thursday &/or Friday
3. Attending UAB basketball and football games this week with signs and vocal outcry
4. Streak at the Bama-LSU game with BOT SUX painted on your butt (FYI, it will not be me doing the streaking... just covering my rear.)

My opinion: We have to get Garrison to speak publicly. The time for timid action is over and we gotta punch the bully in the nose until he's absolutely bloody.

sounds like your source disagrees with everybody else's sources...

They still have fight left in them, just not enough bullets. To a large degree this is going to be on us. Contact the governor and your local legislators. Show up when needed. Make phone calls. If you're in north Alabama bring UAH into the picture. If you're in B'ham metro bring the economic impact into the picture. Don't let up.

Dare I say it.....oh yeah

BRING THE FIGHT

My source has a perspective I trust, but some of the words source gives me are probably painted with a few personal opinions (I wish I could reveal the source, it would be chillingly telling what situation we are in). It's not that they are not fighting, but source believes that UAB admin are afraid of losing their jobs if they stick their neck out too much (when source is ready to put his job on the line I'm pretty sure source will be on BlazerTalk to spill more beans). The "culture of fear" is still there, and it's time to lose that fear and "fight dirty" if we're gonna survive this.

Fact: I don't believe anything anyone posts anymore when unnamed sources are used.

I have a hard time believing this. She spoke at the Student Organization. While she stopped short of saying it was a done deal, it left me feeling pretty confident about the project moving forward.
