Well since he was apparently blindsided late last week I suspect the fight is about to happen.

If I am Mackin and it is a fight to the death, they should propose it anyway and make them publicly reject it so they have to explain why they rejected a fiscally sound plan. Then you say "Oh by the way, Callaway is fired......... *****. " The when they reascend it they have to explain why they are keeping the worst coach in America. Yea, I think Garrison should say *****! and quote that demi more line from GI Jane I can't repeat here.

I'm sure he found out before the weekend. I started getting reports Saturday and more Sunday. Bad news leaks faster than good apparently.

So, just to clarify AB:

You got reports on the stadium not showing up on the agenda but NOT about being "tabled indefinitely?"

I'm not trying to pin you down, but rather salvage everyone's sanity. I know we're not a patient lot, but if we got to present in February and hold a press conference on campus it wouldn't be too bad.

I can't reveal my source, but I heard the news on Saturday. Garrison and Mackin found out on Friday. I still haven't heard for sure which trustee(s) blocked it (and Garrison and Mackin didn't know on Saturday either).

Gotcha. So hoover, did you find out from your source that (a) it was blocked from the agenda; (b) or that it was "tabled" as the USGA liaison says; or (c ) both?

I heard it was blocked on Saturday. Heard earlier today from same source plus another about it being "tabled indefinitely".

I just wish i had confidence that we had equal weapons to fight with in such a battle. I am not certain that it would not be us armed with knives at a gunfight.
