The last four outings against Memphis have been VERY winnable games. Dare I say that we have lost all four of those games, versus Memphis beating us. And don't forget about the travesty that was the 2008, piss-gate, Memphis game. 0/5 - all in games that we should have won. Purely statistically speaking, the numbers would say that we would have to beat Memphis at some point. However, whenever we face one of the huge green & gold elephants in the room of Mike Davis's UAB career (Memphis and meaningful postseason play, aka CUSA tourney and NCAA tourney), I lose all confidence in our team. I'm in my sixth year of hoping that we end this trend once and for all. We look to have a really good team this year..

A bright spot, Davis hasn't lost to Memphis as much as Larry Eustacy

But it's unbelievable to think I was in high school the last time UAB beat Memphis in basketball, especially considering UAB has had some very capable teams.

I was a junior in college when we last stormed the court against Memphis.
