Just wanted to know if Mike made the verbal to coach English. I see EMU is recruiting several QBs but we have not offered them because it is contingent on your son verballing to coach English.

Mike had a real good visit and he really liked all the coaches.Mike has been to utah,both arizona schools,usc,ucla,sdsu,fresno state,cal,stanford,san jose state and just about every other school on the west coast.so when he said he could see him self there for 4 or 5 years i new he liked what he saw.Mike just told me he wanted to wait a few weeks before he went on public record and all over the net about his commit to UEM.mike talked to coach English about that also,and coach told mike not to rush, your the only QB were going to offer.Mike has also been talking with alot of recruits he met on his visit.

Good news, re: talking to recruits from his visit. My understanding is that there were 20-25 recruits visiting that same weekend and they seen a helleva FB game to boot.

Johnson from Ann Arbor Pioneer was there as was Theron Wilson from Ann Arbor Skyline, both would be great commits. Other? Can anyone relate?

Hope Mike brings some recruits with him, would be nice.

Hey QBDAD thx for replying. I understand that a lot is at stake for Mike. I had a friend who played college basketball. He picked the school where he liked the coach the most. Of course there is no rush but if Mike comits sooner rather than later he will help himself by bringing in more recruits. Theron Wilson is a big Tim receiver and Drake Johnson an excellent RB. Once Mike commits I believe football would end up with a top class in the MAC. Also after we go bowling we will be a great program with great players. Personally I believe all of this number of stars assigned to players is overrated but if Coach English and Karcher believe your son could play in the MAC then we trust their judgement. If Mike decides to go elsewhere we wish him the best. Keep your eyes on EMU because we are on the rise:-)
