but he quoted an AD.. and you can't trust anything an AD says!! {/sarcasm}

They keep changing what he said:

"In the best interest of Boise State — and without getting more into it — we're considering all potential opportunities," Apsey told the Statesman, echoing his quote to ESPN.

Apsey said he was unaware of Big East Commissioner John Marinatto being in Boise or on campus Wednesday, as reported by the New York Post.

Not exactly sure how they are changing what he is saying, but whatever. That is the word from their AD.

Might look pretty good if UL and WVU bail for the Big 12.

So true. Very few AD's tell the truth.

And when Boise starts losing, what then? Oh, I know, they'll already have their precious AQ slot locked up. This **** should be illegal.
People have been asking that question for 2 decades.

RE: BigEast in Boise trying to close them
Part of Boise's national appeal was that they were always an underdog, able to win against the big bad BCS autobid conferences. I wonder how successful they'll be without that appeal? Although I guess this new Big East will still have that "underdog" label, so maybe they keep their magic touch.

By the way, War Torn Ruston, that picture of Boise is awesome.

McMurphy now says that the Boise AD knew what he was talking about and the NY Post clown did not.

http://brett-mcmurphy.blogs.cbssports.co...2/32956085
Quote:Big East commissioner John Marinatto and associate commissioner Nick Carparelli flew to Colorado Springs Wednesday to meet with Air Force officials and were scheduled to meet with Boise State officials in Boise, Idaho, on Thursday, a source told CBSSports.com.

Boise State and Air Force are among six schools the Big East hopes to add to replace the defections of Pittsburgh, Syracuse and TCU.

The Colorado Springs Gazette reported Marinatto and Carparelli met with Air Force superintendent Michael Gould, athletic director Hans Mueh and football coach Troy Calhoun on Wednesday.
