Agree with this. I have seen a few articles that made me wish the Bham media supported us like they apparently do in Huntsville.

I have no idea how we are going to get our club team off the ground because NCAA does not allow our D-I hockey players to play club if for some reason they choose to stay at UAH. Any high school players from Huntsville either stop playing hockey completely after high school or play club at a bigger name school (like UA for example). We are an engineering school that attracts primarily nonathletic students. I'm in the process of forming a club lacrosse team and have found this to be a big issue. How the hell are we supposed to get players for a club hockey team?!

If people cared about UAH hockey so much, then why the F*** HAVE THEY NOT BEEN AT THE GAMES? Signing a petition to say we want our hockey team is easy. Voting to say we want our hockey team is easy. Showing up to the game and supporting the team is the hard part. I went to several games this year, and there was NO SUPPORT AT THE GAMES. If people wanted the program to stay alive, they should have bought tickets for their family, friends, kids, etc. and went to the games. It would be much tougher to shut down a program that is selling out every game.
