That's why it would be good for everybody to realize that there are no great teams in the MAC, no matter how much we all (MAC fans) delude ourselves. Individual teams may have a nice upset here and there and occasionally, one team rides a great QB for a few years. Mostly, it is just parity for the majority of teams in the league.
Look at today's results;
NIU beat Buffalo because UB missed an
XP with 14 seconds left. UB is bringing up the bottom of the east but has some good looking young players.
BG beats Temple, a team that has been steamrolling everybody except Toledo, who crushed them. The same BG that a great Bronco second half put away.
I'm watching Miami and Toledo right now, hoping by some miracle that Miami could pull off an upset and make things interesting in the west. It doesn't look good early, as Miami is so offensively challenged.
Assuming our team hasn't completely checked out mentally after today, if they don't beat BSU we are much worse off than everybody fears.
