I was expecting a top-20 ranking but I guess 22nd is pretty good!

Vandy, Louisville, Pitt, Xavier, Bama, are too high. UC is a little low but I wasn't expecting the Cats to start much higher.

With their returning players plus their incoming class with Behanan and Blackshear, I don't think Louisville is ranked too high at all.

Seriously am I missing something regarding Xavier??

I hope they are top 10 when we pummel the crap out of them.

Damn I'm getting excited about basketball season. The one good thing about the dark years is that it made years like last year much more fulfilling.

Kansas and Wisconsin stand out to me. Villanova is being underestimated

It's a team with a lot of experience that has been in or around the top 25 the last few years and has made a couple deep NCAA tournament runs. I have no problem with where XU ranks despite the fact that I do think they are a bit overrated (and were last year, but not in the couple years before that). They have earned it with their recent success.

That said UC is going to beat them bloody.

Another former CUSA team is up pretty high as well (Memphis). What a terrible conference that was

Memphis should be invited to the Big East. They make up for the loss of Pitt/Syracuse to some extent and are a similar university as UL and UC.

With all due respect, they are not as similar as Memphis fans would like to think.

UofL is ranked high every year and take a dive and are usually overrated...only to emerge in ncaa and make a run (except last year)...that's their M.O.

This is why I love Rick Pitino teams. They are good when it counts.
