The contract, although it has not been formally completed, will include plenty of financial incentives for Strong to stay at U of L.

Good for Louisville. Strong will be taking Louisville back to where you were before being Kragthorped.

Louisville is not a good football team right now. The jury is still out on Strong. They are recruiting well, but to date there is not much to show for it. Beating a horrendous UK team isn't necessarily anything to be proud of.

The turn around last year was some good evidence. Any rational UofL fan expected this year to be the nadir. This is because our previous coach, who shall not name, ran a bunch of players away, followed that up with poor recruiting, and then tried to use many JuCos to bandage the wounds.

This has left us an unbalanced team with very few upper classmen, and even fewer with superior talent. Still, our defense may be one of our better units ever.

The Jury is still out, yes. But there's only one or two jurors holding out for a conviction at this point.

This. And it will take a few years of recruiting to backfill the roster with Strong's players. He showed last season he can win and can coach and keep kids motivated. That is enough for me. We all know he can recruit. He may not have Louisville winning the conference championship year in and year out, but Louisville will be a team to deal with if you want to win the conference.

There are no gimmes in the Big East Conference. Every team is a team you have to deal with if you want to win the conference.

Jury is not out for me. Saw some of the most God awful coaching ever in a couple of these games this year. Guve him enough time an the dude inevitably makes bone-headed decisions.

Recruit like Tarzan, coach like Jane. Give him a stache and its like Wanny never left.
