SMU cannot draw 12,000 fans to their stadium against their top C-USA rival - Central Florida. Why are we inviting them?? They are irrelevant to the DFW metroplex.

Word has it that their SID (Sports Information Director) oversees all marketing and sales (only SID in the U.S. who does so) -- and that four years ago, their AD, Steve Orsini dictated that all marketing and sales staff should be fired. He wanted to save money

Result - 12,000 fans (at the most) at football, and maybe 300 at basketball games.

This is not a good program to include if we want to stay relevant!!

Next, 12,000 is not what SMU drew to that game, it was 23,000 (which is actually sorta low by their standards) If you can't even get this information right, why would anyone believe you on the rest of your points?

The Big East is good at soccer, SMU has a good soccer program. Big East sucks at baseball, SMU doesnt play baseball. Perfect match.

What is obvious is that you are an idiot. I watched part of the game on television and I could count the number of fans in the stands. If you are buying their bull**** numbers, you must be from Ponyfans.

And, UCF- SMU was a rematch of last year's C-USA Final you moron! Houston didn't get there - remember. Nobody was there ---

Anyway, it does the Big East no good to bring schools into the conference with no fan base. SMU is irrelevant.
