I'm fine with going to 14

I guess adding Army and moving Villanova up to get to 14 could work.

I would prefer not to divide the financial pie too much.

I used to be somewhat okay with Nova moving up. But the plain they presented was beyond insulting and helped damage the Big East's already shaky reputation. Their initial plan to move up to FBS was accompanied by a stadium that didn't even meet minimum FBS standards and their plan to meet those standards met the absolute bare minimum and would have been laughable for a MAC or Sunbelt school.

Army is a different story, and I still think it would be ultimately helpful to the conference to have all three service academies in the conference. I understand that Army has nixed the idea, but I still hope that they might revisit it, at least by the time we go to 16.

I was hoping we would come in as part of a package to get to 14 - a preemptive defensive maneuver to keep from going through all the bad publicity of re-loading again in two months.
