He has a positive take on it as a creative move assuming the following:

1. The BCS as we know it will be dramatically different in 2 years (possibly without any autobids)
2. The BE as we know it will be dramatically different in 2 weeks (he has a source in the SEC that says should Mizzou gets invited, they will get them in the SEC in 2012, which will make the B-12 take 1-3 BE teams immediately).

As far as nothing new, that is the first I've seen with an inside source suggesting that the Neinas' timeline of 2013 is not necessarily accurate, which changes things, IMO.

That's a pretty good guess considering that (1) the SEC and ACC already support a plus-one it's-a-playoff-but-don't-call-it-one, and (2) Scott and Delany had a meeting recently at which they discussed a possible format for a plus-one that the Pac-12 and Big Ten could support.

So, if the MWCUSA deal holds together, and the Big 12 adds three schools after the SEC adds Mizzou, then will the remaining BE FB schools try to join the MWCUSA deal?
