All Things San Jose State
Stomping Hawaii 20-7 right now. Looks like parity might be coming full circle in the WAC. Now SAN JOSE STATE is looking competitive. 03-melodramatic

The Warriors are the masters of meltdown this year. If they start strong, they look great. If they have a few miscues early, they unravel like cheap yarn. Not unusual for a team that has some talent but lacks experience at key positions.

We will probably lose to Utah St. at home tomorrow. I guess we are giving the WAC leftovers the last shot before we leave to the Mount USA.

San Jose State and Utah State both have terrific young coaches. Both run imaginative, innovative offenses that allow for wide open receivers.

Hawaii now up 21-20 going into the fourth quarter. Four Hawaii takeaways in the third quarter offset UH's six turnovers so far (five in the first half). Crazy insane WAC game, either team could win it.

Hawaii scores a touchdown...BUT San Jose State blocked the extra point FG, and returned it for 2! 04-jawdrop

Spartans get tackled for loss, 2-point conversion failed.

Hawaii gets the ball back with :36 seconds left.

The 500 fans that watched rushed the field...

Good win, but in front of a mediocre crowd.

I remember hearing a few years ago that San Jose State considered dropping their football program to the FCS level. Is there still any danger of that happening?

No. SJSU has really improved the last 2 years. They just keep playing body bag games. Tonights crown was 26,022. But I bet 5000 was Hawaii fans. Those dudes travel well considering.
