In talking with Marlo last night at the UALR
fund raiser, he told me the two walk ons are tough kids. He says that Tre'von is as quick as Dre, which is saying something, and that Casey shoots the ball extremely well. He says our talent is better than last year. Just need some experience. Marlo has already graduated and is working on a second degree.

Talked with Gus. He's obviously going to redshirt. Making all A's in school. Way to go Gus.

Saw Jake Yancey. He looks good. Still tall.

I was with a friend last night, and he's about my height. Hard to find in a big crowd. I told him to stand next to Joe Kleine and follow him wherever he went because that way I'd always be able to find him.

I don't know how much was raised last night, but there were a lot of big spenders in the live auction. I wasn't one of them.

Craig O'Neal was the auctioneer, and he's always funny. You never know what's going to come out of his mouth. He probably doesn't either.

First official practice at 4:00 P.M. today. I hope Steve begins posting on his website to let us know how things are coming, since we can't attend practices.

Good to be at the Jack last night. Season is just around the corner.
Looking forward to it.04-cheers

Doesn't surprise me. He has always struck me as a focused, mature guy.

That is very interesting.
Hope he knows what he is talking about.

Has there been anyone on the court in any home game taller than Joe since he became a coach? He still looks great. He played at 255 in college, I remember. Looks like he is still close to that.
