WTF Pitt?
What the hell? Are you aware that you haven't been awarded a win before playing this game today? I mean yes this should be an automatic win but you still have to play the game you know?

Get your **** together already...especially you Sunseri.

Agreed. Mental mistakes are really hurting Pitt. They need to do something with the Rutgers blitz....

RE: WTF Pitt?
I know Trey threw a pick but why in the eff is Tino back in the game?!?!?!?!?

It's flipping Rutgers. Game should have been decided in Pitt's favor by the end of the first quarter.

A step back in the development over the past few weeks for sure. What happened at practice this week??

RE: WTF Pitt?
This is a prime example of why it's so hard to be a Pitt fan. You blow out USF and then you come out and lay an absolute egg against Rutgers. There is no excuse for this team not expecting to win the Big East on a yearly basis. We've been in a position to do it since 2008. That goal may have effectively been taken off the table already this year because of this loss. This is just unacceptable. We have a lot more talent than Rutgers even in a down year for us.

I think we need to get Anderson ready to play next week and stop with this nonsense of playing two QBs. He needs to get the starter's reps for next week and Sunseri needs to take a seat for the rest of the year. We're absolutely one dimensional and every team in the Big East knows it. With Sunseri in there we don't even have a threat of throwing the ball.

I have never seen such putrid play, particularly at the QB position. I think the 3-0 loss in the Sun Bowl was actually better. Unreal. Graham needs to step up and have some answers after this one because there's no excuse for it.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Well done. 04-bow

The saddest thing about this, too, is that I am unsure whether Anderson is any better. If he was you'd have to think he would have replaced Sunseri already.

I actually wonder if we would have just put Gonzalez in there and just run the option all game long whether we would have been more successful. My guess is yes. There have to be some adjustments made after this loss, no doubt about it.

RE: WTF Pitt?
At the risk of sounding like Obama, the problem is the the previous coaching staff. They never effectively recruited QB, OL, LB and CB consistently. Too many misses on the recruiting front. Add on top of that DW helped to instill in this team a culture of folding under adversity. But the single biggest problem this year is QB and OL. Pitt wins this game this year if Nix and Jacobson are playing on the OL IMO. Alternatively, if Pitt had a competent QB, Rutgers would have been burned on most of the plays where they sold out on the blitz.

RE: WTF Pitt?
Here is Trey's "demo" or recruiting video. I think you will be impressed. He certainly is familiar with HIGH OCTANE.

His team won the Texas 5A state championship last year. We don't even have 5A in PA!!: ) ((In the area where we just built our house, near Pearland where Trey is from, the two HS have over 3K students - each.)

It's about 21 mins long. I recommend you watch to the end. It will help to ease the pain to know what the future QB is capable of. Oh, and he is an AWESOME pooch punter.: ) hahahaha

Trey Anderson Effing Awesome

P.S. I'm watching it right now...and loving it.

P.P.S. Music score is equally as awesome. I can see why Hott Toddy called him up to the Burgh, yinz!
