Go Chips. We need these OOC wins.

Miami did their thing.

Akron is still trying vs. FIU.

Remember, knocking teams out of bowl eligibility is a good thing (like Army is hurting big. Navy could be).

Halftime: NCSU 21, CMU 17. Defense is struglling some, specifically in the area of the pass rush. By my count, we have one pressure on the QB so far, and he's had far too much time to throw. A promising CMU drive ended near the NCSU 10 on a WR fumble. 03-banghead The defense stopped them from making anything out of it.

I'm happy to see our offense again playing like we thought it would this season. The defense, though is missing at least three starters right now and playing like it. Special teams so far have been good, although we still need to limit KO returns better.

The player who should be starting for us at QB had a 74 yard TD run. He also had a 68 yard TD run against Villanova.

The player who should be starting for KSU at QB is probably leading his intramural flag football squad right now, he certainly isn't on their current roster.03-banghead

I do know where ours is, but the current guy is like clockwork: third quarter, time to throw the ball to the other team. Three times. 03-banghead03-banghead03-banghead

So, we score on a 77yd TD run to pull within 14, then recover an onside kick, set up in the red zone and...throw another...freaking...interception!!! 03-puke

RE: GameDay 10/8/2011
Buffalo just scored to go ahead of Ohio with just over 5 minutes to play. Ohio has their backs against the wall. We will see if the visitors from Athens are truly contenders this year or not. Pressure is on.

38 - 34 UB

Big kickoff return for Ohio. This will get interesting.

RE: GameDay 10/8/2011
Final from Raleigh: NCSU 38, CMU 24. NCSU, like Kentucky, was ripe for the taking, but too many mistakes on offense derailed us. Specifically, three unforced picks thrown by our hopefully soon-to-be-replaced QB and a fourth one where he should have just taken the sack.

I am encouraged that a very young (11 freshman or more played for CMU today!) CMU team held its own against an ACC team on the road today. I am frustrated that we have the MAC's version of Tony Romo behind center. I am glad that at least we'll be at home hosting EMU on Saturday. CMich out. 03-weeping

we still have a lot of work to do, but fortunately, we have a lot of time to do it as this was only our second MAC game.

Ohio's fair game for anybody.

No.

Ohio has enough overall talent to win at least 5 MAC games. Akron, Buffalo, Ball State, Miami will all be wins. In fact I would think BG will also be a layup by the time November rolls around.

The East will as it usually does come down to the Ohio-Temple game. Ohio is expected to make it a blackout with the players wearing black jerseys. Given Ohio's history against Temple they've got a very good chance at winning that game and going on to take the East.

Its not that Ohio is necessarily that great but if you are looking across the East most of the schools have basically nothing, unimpressive on both sides of the ball.

All of which you refuted are false. Now shut the hell up.

Congrats Bulls. Now I think I'm going to 03-puke
