Timeout Management
I've been critical of Graham's timeout management the past few weeks because it seems like he burns timeouts really early and in situations where it's really not necessary. An example of this was calling timeout in the ND game before choosing to run a QB sneak - a play that should have easily been executed without a burning the TO. We were also in ND territory at the time so we really had two downs to get a yard.

I realized by watching the USF game on TV that some of the timeouts may be getting used because our players aren't lined up correctly. Graham had to use at least one timeout because Todd Thomas was lined up incorrectly on a 3rd down play. At the game I was groaning about this but after watching the game on TV I realized that it was probably a good thing that he did this.

Perhaps I won't be so quick to question his use of timeouts in the future. As the players adapt more to the new schemes they are running (and in Thomas' case his new position) we'll hopefully see less and less of this.
