LOL!!! Well let me explained to you, the Memphis game was our next to last game of our WORST season EVER,the game was reschedule for an early start if i remember 11AM and was televised in ESPN.
Our fan base is not as established nor as old as most other schools, thus a bad season + televised game + unappealing opponent + early start (most of our games are 7PM) contributed to the low attendance for that game.
Most of our alumni is young and have kids saturday afternoon's are for kid's sports teams.
I could show u pics of our game two years ago vs Louisville that the stadium was rocking.
Who shows up has nothing to do with season tix.
If you read some of my other posts you would see that i have always pushed for Memphis to be added into BE and defended you guys for what you have to offer.
But hey if it makes you feel better go ahead and knock us,one thing i can tell you everytime i read one of these stupid posts from Memphis fans i get happier that you guys didnt get in and that hopefully you and CUSA will lose the Liberty Bowl.

Fantastic job Huskies! 04-rock I am really glad to be in the same conference with you guys. For a program that just went Div 1A a few years ago, what you guys have done is amazing.

Glad UL is part of the BE. Both UCONN and UL will have good FB and BB programs and it could develop into a nice rivalry down the road. Both of us have nice stadiums and a nice fan base. UL should have been added a long time ago as a 9th FB member. I am glad UCONN will play UL every year in BB and FB.

Correction brista21
had an incredibly low tobacco tax. Not a smoker so not concerned but tax on tobacco products went way way up in Kentucky this past spring. I hope UofL will benefit from some of that windfall...I know that university down the interstate will. 03-puke
