If the Big East were to go to 12 teams...would a playoff be necessary? I just don't like the playoff system but I like 12 teams cause I like the thought of certain teams. (God, I said please no more expansion threads, but....) I like keeping a couple of the Basketball schools if we split, especially VU. I love UMass cause it's in the Northeast, a state school, good B-ball, and takes the slack up Temple or an upgraded Georgetown...one or the other, and Memphis cause they're deserving and add spice.

SU Pitt
UConn WVU
UMass Cincy
Rutgers Louisville
VU Memphis
Temple SF

The Basketball would still rival the ACC and by that time UConn and SF would have grown up and we can undertake a couple of new and refurbished DI programs.
