RE: Tranghese interview on WFAN
Tranghese is bitter & clueless and set the stage for the next clueless commissioner to succeed him. Will the current (and last) commissioner of the BE be as bitter as his predecessor? I won't care. My team will have tried to put these last years behind us like a bad dream.

He seems to hint that the Catholic Schools should just start up their own conf...and how ACC will come back to grab some "more" teams.

Also seemed to think Rutgers and UCONN will never get a Big Ten invite.

Here's another link to article and audio link (had problems with the original)

After all the football schools leave, he won't have to.

The ACC will go to 16. UConn and Rutgers.

The Pac12 will go to 16 with the TX and OK quartet.

The remaining BE and Big12 teams will merge. It makes too much sense not to happen.

Yea he's clueness but he's right when he talks about Clemson/NC state at MSG. Why do people think New Yokers care for teams outside the region. He also talks about TCU and Baylor.

Perhaps even more so. Trained Geese never asked Beebe and Swofford to help him "peacekeep" the college football landscape.

Yeah, like they care about DePaul vs Marquette either. Or Providence versus anyone.

NY might not care about NC State vs Clemson or Miami vs Virginia Tech in a first round game, but are they going to care about Duke vs Syracuse or North Carolina vs UConn in a semifinal or final game?
