If Pitt and Cuse are indeed going to the ACC, given the level of bitterness between the two conferences, should we immediately move the team boards to ACCbbs or wait until they are official ACC members?

I'd wait until they are officially in the ACC, unless the animosity gets fierce. After all, they are still in The BEast...

I don't care so much about the board, but I'm looking forward to giving both of them as much ridicule as I can if/when they visit UC.

It's not the fault of the fans of either team. It's their unethical administrations.

I vote when it's official.

I'd rather avoid pissing contests and I understand the sentiment of those who call Pitt unethical or whatever. And I encourage Pitt and Cuse fans to head over to the ACC board to post the game threads and whatever is related to our schools. What is said over here would be out of site and out of mind for our fanbases.

Honestly, do many people use the team boards on here as far as Big East members go? If so I'm missing out because I never go to team boards on the Big East side other than the active UC board.

As long as they don't post about the ACC, I could care less.

But, if they are going to make posts on how great the ACC is, they can do it on the ACC boards.

Well there are a ton of Cuse and Pitt fans plus a few ACC fans to make it active.

The site started out long long long ago as just ACCbbs after ACC Boards was bought out and demolished by Scout. There's alot more ACC fans lurking about (particularly in the Lounge area) than you think.

FWIW ... active boards:

Teams: ETSU, Campbell, Mercer, Cincinnati, UAB, Rice, Memphis, NIU, Toledo, EMU, WMU, CMU, Kent State, UALR
Conferences: ASun, Big East, C-USA, MAC, Sun Belt
General: Sports Bar, Spin Room, Conference Realignment

Does it really matter?

It's not like either program is playing relevant football and the chance for a good season for both schools is essentially over. We have now have nothing in common with these schools so I'm not sure why they would even post here anyways.

I have nothing personal against Pitt or CUSE fans....it is what is.

Kinda fitting that the founder of the Big East passed away today....
