If Wanny can coach college ball as well as he recruits it, the BE may have a new giant.

Agreed. But aren't most of your recruits so far from your own backyard? Has he gotten a 4-star or above from another area to commit yet? When he starts doing that then you'll really be scary good.

BE needs Pitt and SU to regain some of their lost luster and for WVU and Louisville to continue with what they have been doing over the past few seasons. This will give UConn, Cincinnati, USF and Rutgers the time they need to develop.

Cheers,
Neil

There are so many good recruits out of OH and PA area, there is almost no need for PITT to go else where. I think Wanny can build a program just by recruiting around him. I really dont think Wanny has to go else where except maybe FLA.

BTW, how is PITT season ticket selling so far? All this good things must have fans excited.

I feel that the 3 contiguous states of OHIO, PENNSYLVANIA, AND NEW JERSEY may have more 1A football talent than any other 3 adjacent states in the country.

Wanny had a couple visitors in the Burgh today. Sean McCoy, Aaron Berry, and friends had a nice visit.

Bishop McDevitt Trio Visit Pitt

By Tony DeFazio and Chris Dokish

The University of Pittsburgh played host to three standout athletes from Bishop McDevitt High School Saturday afternoon, as running back LeSean McCoy, cornerback Aaron Berry and lineman Jason Kates visited the campus and watched the afternoon’s practice. Joining the McDevitt trio on their unofficial visit was Harrisburg High linebacker Darnell Henderson.

The group enjoyed the trip and at least one plans on returning for an official visit. Keystone Recruiting caught up with the group before they hit the road back to Harrisburg.

"I liked it more than I thought. It wasn't what I expected,
