50k strong would imply you'd have no problem selling out. Also why do ECU fans put up with an AD who celebrates moral victories as much as TH does?

Wow this is sad, why don't you worry about your coach and his nole-knight, or gator-knight or whatever crap that is. Why do y'all put up with a coach that kills players and lies on his resume?

Cause he wins
UCF fans are WAY too obsessed with our AD. I couldn't really quote one thing that UCF's AD has EVER said but they are all over each and every TH release over there in Orlando huh?

Thats because after a loss our AD doesn't post moral victory letters. If he did im sure ECU fans would make as much fun of it as we would. ECU, best 0-2 team in the country???

ECU, best 0-2 team in the country???

He never says anything remotely close to that but thanks for thinking so.

His message: Thank you fans for coming out in force against VT. It was a great atmosphere and many recognized that. Tough luck starting 0-2 against 2 good teams. Please continue to support the team because we need a sell out against UAB. End of story.

Anything else he was saying was in an attempt to keep the lunatic fringe from jumping ship and not attending the game against UAB. At least he wasn't inviting Tarheels and Wolfpack fans to the game.

Why are the rest of you taking this idiots bait? Obviously he wanted to start a trolling thread, and as usual you guys jump right on it and give him exactly what he wants. There's no debate to be had here. Move this to the smack board because the second it was posted with this title it was destined to be there. Move it before it reached 4 pages.

uh.... yeah, they probably are. Moral victory or not, in the second year of a new head coach that COMPLETELY changed the direction of the program (from what is basically O'Leary ball - strong defense and running game - to a Houston/Tulsa type of team) to be in games with 2 top 20 games to start year two is pretty damn good.

TH has really done a number to you guys. ECU 15 years ago would not be OK with losing just because they held VT to 17. Nowadays its all good because you nearly won. Serious question, when did ECU start accepting moral victories??

We aren't, if you can't figure it out, that on you. TH is doing his job, growing the programs, greesing donors' wallets, selling tickets. Ruff's job is win and loses, he doesn't do moral victories. You can ask him. TH does his job, Ruff his.

You have absolutely no clue as to what you are talking about. You post your crap to get a RISE out of someone and it worked. You got a rise and then you go on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on. "Nowadays" are only being compared to last year and the defensive issues ECU had. VA Tech was a moral victory. Our offense was atrocious, but our defense has definitely stepped it up and after everything we barely lost to a supposed "National Title contender". There isn't one single PIRATE to include TH that is happy that we lost two games against the SEC and ACC that we should have won, but being a glass is half full type of guy, TH chose to keep the fans from losing focus (Two weeks between VA Tech and UAB) and or interest (Definite game environment difference between VA Tech and a UAB). Your a closet PIRATE and as soon as you learn to face it, the better off you'll be. And by the way, OLEARY's a schmuck.

RE: Oooh ECU fans.
Funny how you UCF fans are bashing Holland, but he's the one that's gotten us these 1 and 1 deals with strong BCS teams. Point and laugh all you want, but last time I checked we don't have Charleston Southern and FIU on the schedule.

Would have been nice to blow out two sh!tty teams (yes, BC is a crap team-they lost to NW), but we faced at least 2-3 heisman candidate (Lattimore, Jeffrey, Wilson from VT could be in the running with a monster season), the best recruit of the decade (Clowney who has the skillset of a 3rd year starter as a true freshman), and better front 7s (USC) and secondaries (VT) UCF could ever think about facing.

Thanks to the 1 legit UCF fan that sees our schedule and improvement for what they really are.

Look I get it, the OP's being a d!ck ... But this $h!t is uncalled for..

And so is the content bashing of TH!

So you are equating the needling of your AD to the accusation of murder .. I'm not sure which of you is more idiotic.

You reading WAY too much in to my post. Bashing our AD is uncalled for, period, no more meaning than that. Not equating a damn thing, calling bs, bs.

Maybe they need to master the Sun Belt OOC before they play upper level SEC and/or ACC programs OOC.
