Wisconsin game seating assignments
I went through some old posts, and it seems people are sitting all over for this game, both sides of the field, with tickets purchased through the university. I wonder why they didn't try to put all the NIU fans on the west, UW on the east. Perhaps there was a reason, like trying to not have completely empty sections/make it look more full?

They tried to give the NIU season ticket holders the best seats in the whole stadium.

They gave the Wisconsin fans seats in the South Endzone. Which I think was a mistake.

All of the seats on the East side of the stadium on levels 200 and 300 are United Club. Looks to me like the seats that aren't sold at all is the 400 level grandstand and 300 level endzones.

The south endzone should be mostly full with Wisconsin fans.
The North endzone will look sad unless the students sell out the 5k + bogo tickets.

The club seats should sell out by game day.

If all that is not full is the 400 level then it wont look so bad with tighter shots of the kickoffs. But if they have an overhead shot via blimp then it will look like a joke.

I agree with you, but I think we're safe from any blimp shots...we're on ESPN3, not ABC. Although, maybe the pixelation will help disguise it should a blimp show up!

if we trounce Kansas and UW trounces Oregon St. then im sure SOMEBODY would have interest in picking up the game for TV. Lets just hope some of the teams ahead of us in the polls lose this week.

Forget about the idea of TV. It will not happen. ESPN3.com coverage is written in stone.

ESPN owns the TV rights and they have already said they want this game as an ESPN3.com exclusive.

The only thing that could happen is the game is put on WPWR quietly.

ESPN would not allow it. They would have to remove the "exclusive" tag from the game.

Ill be interested to see if the broadcast is given a higher priority even though it is on ESPN3? Maybe a better picture format, more cameras, just like an ESPN game. I would think they would want to do a good job with this game given how many cheeseheads will be tuning in for it.
