It's nice to see a couple of BEast teams in the polls. But it's still early in the season. I'll be more excited about it if both teams are still in the polls at the end of the season, especially if another team or 2 joins 'em...

Congrats to South Florida. If UCF doesn't get a chance to play in a BCS bowl, I hope you get into the national championship with your perfect season intact. 04-cheers

W Va #19, USF #22 and future member TCU #25. It a good start and now we need to build on that. The problem with our conference is by the end of the season we will be knocking each other off. We have a balanced and exciting conference. There is no dominating team with a bunch of push overs. That is why our ooc games are so important. We have to win those.

RE: WVU # 19, USF #22 in AP Poll
I wouldn't say that, RU. If USF and WVU manage to go undefeated in their OOC schedules, there's a chance they'll be unbeaten when they play at the end of the season, if the Bulls beat Pitt. If Pitt wins all their OOC games, and beats USF, there's a chance the Backyard Brawl could be between 2 unbeatens. But that big word - IF - is the key ingredient here. Still, that would rival the 2006 season, when WVU, UofL, and Rutgers were battling it out at the end of the season, when all 3 were highly ranked...
