I'd go with SMU over BYU personally. But as I said overall a very workable solution that may resemble in some ways what comes to pass.

Uh, didn't Conference USA have red, white, and blue divisions back in the old days? Let's stay away from those names, please.

Personally, I prefer 4 divisions based on geography.
