Congrats on the win Cincy! That was a good practice like the UCONN/Fordham game.

An amazing stat: Not only did 12 guys rush the ball, but every one of them averaged at least 5 yards per carry.

Congrats, Cincy fans! UCF pretty much did what you did, except shut our opponent out. Good luck!

UC's OL didn't look as dominate as I would have liked. The defense, while good tonight, still has me concerned as well. I'm not sure this really did anything to prepare UC for next week.

I'll see some of you guys next week in Knoxville. Send me a PM and I'll give you the details on how to contact me so we can get together when you come to town. I can show you some of the best places to eat...

You might want to stick around for Sunday too. My Turkish friends are having a benefit, and serving up some good Turkish food... 04-cheers

I agree with the first part. If our OL can't get a FD on 4th and inches against the WVU walk-ons (03-nerner) then what about tougher opponents? The OL did have more than its share of moments, but it's spotty to say the least.

AP moved the ball pretty well once all the starters left the game. But, we obviously won't be seeing a lineup like that in the rest of our games.

As far as preparation, I can take some good things:

- Milano looked good after botching his first PAT (it's been an important concern)
- A lot of the true freshmen got into the game early and often, and, as expected, contributed significantly (including Teague who was injured most of camp)
- Although a blowout tells us very little, I did appreciate that the reserves were competing as if this was still a game.
- Execution was very clean all night, with a minimum of penalties/mistakes; but I did see Zach throw a couple of ill-advised balls that could have been picked
- Most importantly, we jumped on this team from the get-go, as opposed to this Inidana State crap last year.

We'll see what happens vs. UT, but it's pretty clear that we have a completely different team this year.

Meh.

UC put up 10 TDs against me, mlb, and 9 guys from accounting.

Jut an exhibition game. I did like what I saw from some of the lightning quick smurfs we recruited. Abbernathy, Poteat, Teague, and Washington are going to give D-Coordinators ulcers for the next few years.

Hey... I have proof that I was only a consultant coach, Rath. Check out ESPN3's archived broadcast of the game, fast forward to around the 20 minute mark and they show my wife and I with our 3 year old catching the game. Somehow they cut out the ugly members of the group... Subflea, Eastside_J, Rath, and BearcatJim all were just out of view. Dizzy made the screen partially, but she certainly is the class of the group in terms of looks.
