Wow...makes you wonder if the injuries he suffered during his College & Hall of Fame NFL career had anything to do with it.

I do not begrudge any player for trying to get as much as they can because if you truly look @ it they lose years off their life playing a sport we all love for our entertainment.

Sad news, no doubt related to his football career.

Lee Roy is a man's man. He's lived past the normal life expectancy of an NFL vet. Good man, I pray that God heals his body and soul and brings him through this illness, whether he lives or passes.

Sad news, I went to school with some of the younger Selmon generations. Lee Roy will always be a great Sooner and NFL player.

I am sorry to hear about the passing away of Leroy Selmon. I remember him as a great DL for Tampa Bay, but he did much, much more as an individual away from football. Condolences to his family.

Very sad. A legend at Oklahoma, USF, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. RIP. He has a ton of stuff named after him in the Tampa area.

He was a great football player but an even better human being.

The World lost one of their treasures.

He left a lasting legacy in Tampa. That's something few humans are able to accomplish...
