I feel for the rough ride that UC is in for.

It seems that you guys and gals have a terrible leader in this new president, Nancy, is it Zemphyr. This woman is on a mission against collegiate athletics and her first casualty of this war is Bob Huggins.

Lets not kid ourselves. Basketball is what has UC on the map. Your football is not even close to big time. (See thread about the 20,000 fan minimum for the BE)

This woman, in my opinion, will ruin your athletic department and the progress that has been made there. By the time she has the athletic department good and ruined she will move on to bigger and better things(in her own mind).

I am sorry that you guys are going through this. East Carolina has seen what poor leadership can do to a program. (Nearly ruin it over night). But we have been through the bad times and with Terry Holland and Skip Holtz leading us, the Pirates will soon be back better than ever. But the leadership we had, or lack of for a better term, nearly killed our athletic department and turned the fan base against each other. But we were lucky enough to get leaders like Terry Holland and Chancellor Steve Ballard who understand the value that the athletic department has for the University as a whole. Maybe you will get lucky enough to get this kind of leadership one day. As long as this Nancy whatever her name is rules UC, expect more turmoil.

At least the worst for you wasn't going on during conference realignment. Look at the bright side.
