Channel 12 was speculating that he could go to Wright State due to Biancardi's issues at Ohio State. How great would that be to have Huggins coaching just around the corner! I know it is a longshot, but that would just be too sweet... I'd drink to that

That would make my day. I do think he has some ties at the school. Thats a great part of town. i'm sure all those businesses around would love to chip in and give him everything he wants. WSU needs to plant some evidence on Biancardi.

They have a hell of a golf course out there in Beavercreek 04-cheers

I will not move from my decision to never support UC until Zimpher is gone.

I made the same pledge about the Bengals when Mike Brown did not take the N.O. draft picks for Akili Smith's #4 slot and have not waivered.

This is the email I sent the UC alumni Association today (replying to a Homecoming email they had sent a week or so ago). The font was a little larger and bolder:

I WILL NOT GO TO ANOTHER UC BASKETBALL GAME (I HAVE BEEN TO 7 NCAA TOURNEYS AND NUMEROUS ROAD AND HOME GAMES).

I WILL WATCH ANOTHER UC BASKETBALL GAME (I HAVE NOT MISSED A UC BASKETBALL GAME SINCE MOVING BACK HERE IN 1996).

I WILL NOT GO TO ANOTHER UC FOOTBALL GAME (I HAVE BEEN TO 1-2 GAMES A YEAR SINCE GRADUATING).

I WILL NOT SPEND A DIME ON UC MERCHANDISE.

I WILL NOT GIVE A DIME TO UCATS OR THE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION.

I WILL NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM ANYONE WHO IS BEHIND ZIMPHER.

Please don't bother sending me another email or letter until Zimpher is gone. I didn't go to school there as far as I am concerned.

Tell Keith Stichtenoth he is grossly mistaken in how this will impact UC and the alumni association.

Sorry about the long post..........

I don't really know where I stand right now. I have only liked UC since becoming a student 4 years ago. They are obviously my favorite team now. As a student I will continue to go to every game I can, after all I have already paid for it with my tuition. However, if there is some type of protest for the football game, I will take part of it (probably after a few beers, so I will be really pissed off then).

The thing that worries me the most if the economic impact her decision will have on the university and the city as a whole. I think this could turn into a deadly economic snowball. I hope it doesn't, but everyone has the right and a reason to not support UC/UZ.

I will still be a fan of UC (for life), but I think the next five years could be really really bad for basketball. However, if the whore does have a plan for the basketball program and somehow hires someone that continues to win every year (highly unlikely) this whole thing will be an afterthought for me. Only being a fan for 4 years, Huggins impact on me is not as large as the lifetime fans. The bottom line for me is winning. Just my opinion though...

NatiCat, you are a newer student. She has offended all the alumni of the University with her comments like "brand equity"

My job is more important than hers. May be hard to believe, but it is. I help treat cancer patients.

What does she do? Fire people and piss off the alumni.

Her performance indicators keep decreasing. She can't remain employed.

My position is this. My degree says University of Cincinnati on it, not university of Huggins. For that reason I will still attend games because the coaches and players deserve support. I will not spend an extra dime while I'm there but I don't think it's fair for Jihad, White, Kirk, and Hicks to not have a vocal support for their senior year.

I was considering joining the Alumni Association, now that's not going to happen, I won't buy any gear, and when I begin to make enough income where I can donate to the university I won't. I am going to get rid of the UC plates on my car because the money goes to the University. But despite the idiotic racist leadership of Z and Cox I will not punish the players and coaches.

RealDeal. I agree and I disagree.

This is about way more than Huggins.

Zimpher is one of those people who follows perception not reality. She thinks her English degree at OSU is superior to my engineering degrees at UC. That is BS.

She is full of crap.

She must leave town. Just the presence of that tampon in Clifton is enough to make my blood boil.

I will still go to games, still love the Bearcats, still support Huggs at whatever he does, always hope for nothing but failure and doom for Cox and every other board member and hope Z (hillary) is a short lived nightmare that will get her justice in the worst way. I will donate as always as its MY university and I cannot change that.
I will support and try to make life better for our student athletes. I will have to reconsider financially supporting anything outside athletics. I now donate to my college, any capital campaign, the alumini assoc etc. I will have to reconsider business deals of all types with any business of a current board member etc. Lets all
try to support the game next Thurs. It would be better to go and
protest Z than not to go at all. It is apathy that will lead to doom.

I will still support the football team and will continue to watch the basketball team as it isn't their fault. I have canceled my UC alumni association membership and will make no donations to the university. I will email Zimpher about my degree being useless and how the basketball program doesn't produce any role models (Not to mention how ridiculous she is and I will see her fired). I guess I will have to quit my job I've been at for 11 years and started out as a co-op while at UC since apparently I am a moron since I don't meet the UC-21 requirements. (Maybe I should get some safety scissors and stay away from electric as surely I am too stupid to play with things like that). I will wear my Anti-Zimpher shirt and continue the crusade to see her and at least Phil Cox off the board (Preferably the entire board). I will not send my kids to the school and will disuade others from doing the same. I will not let me University become a laughing stock and national punch-line because a stupid baitch wanted to try to further her career and use us as a stepping stone to try and get back to O$U (That will never happen since there is no place for athletics at a major university). Zuck Fimpher!

lets see how much support you give when the fball and bball are year in and year out losers. The support for the teams UNDER her will diminish! that is without doubt. So whether it happens now or latter does it really matter! YES, the sooner the support drops and the boycott of all businesses and people takes place, then the sooner she will be gone. Then we can have a new pres., AD, and coach to pull the cats out of the ashes. I'm an alum also (95). If we just blindly support then why would it change!
