Three Kent golfers made the final 64 and are beginning match play today. They are John Hahn, Nick Scott and Machenzie Hughes. Good luck to them.

Nick Scott did not make the match play.

Yeah my fault. He lost in a playoff for the top 64.

Hahn currently 1-up thru 12 and Hughes 1 down thru 17.

:muttering: Both bogied the final hole, so Mackenzie loses 1-down.

Hahn was 3-down in his match thru 5, and had the lead until the 13th, but the match is now all-square on 14.

Hahn wins 2 & 1 by getting a birdie 3 on the 509 yd par 4 17th.

He plays in the round of 32 at 1 p.m. (CDT).

Hahn wins his afternoon match 2-up and advances to the round of 16 tomorrow morning.

Hahn lost 3 & 2 in his match today.

The guy he was playing just didn't make mistakes today. John played well, but needed to string some birdies, because the other guy just wouldn't bogey.
