I have noticed on the Syrcuse board that a lot of their poster still wish to go to the ACC or Big 10. It makes hardly any since to me for them to want to join a conference in which they would be on the outskirts instead of in the middle of its own region. Are they a liability to the conf?

Well if a school is a liability to its conference, simply because a minority of their fans say they want to go to another conference on a message board, then I guess that makes WV a liability to the conference since so many of their fans has dreams of going to the sec.

In other words, this thread has gotten old already.

Agreed. I think majority of the Cuse fans want to stay in the BE except a couple of them on the message board. At the end of the day, Cuse belong to a conference with rest of the eastern schools than in the B10 or the ACC.

I don't see Syracuse leaving the Big East for any other Conference. I was glad when the didn't join the ACC. I'm a firm believer in playing in your natural geographical location. Plus it wouldn't be the same playing Pitt, UConn, WVU (ST. John's, GTown in basketball) every year! There are those few fans who want the so called "better" conference. Let them keep dreaming of that scenerio, it's just not going to happen!

Syracuse won't go anywhere. Doesn't make any sense.

If the B10 or ACC came calling it would be common sense for SU to join. Sorry, but there's a big difference in conference strengh and prestige in football.
