I would imagine Steve is already narrowing down possibilities. He'll want someone with Texas connections like Joe Golding. Since players will be returning Thursday, I would think he'd want to get the new coach in place fairly quick.

Be nice if he could coach a little bit. He may have been one hell of a recruiter, but evidently couldn't coach'em.

No question he could recruit some good looking talent. Hey. Is Marty Fletcher available? I loved that guy. He was probably the most entertaining opposing coach we ever played against.
