watching this game i really get the feeling and impression that it is a big game between 2 big programs. i think Pitt right now, even if they lose, is looking very impressive for the league. great atmosphere.

Someone tell me how this defense was considered the best in the conference? If Pitt is running the top D in the Big East, we're ALL in for some long afternoons in the secondary. I may be comparing apples to oranges, but the Louisville D was not getting shredded like this in fall ball. I THINK the Cardinal offense is a little better than Notre Dame's.

If Pitt doesnt get it together at halftime, The BE will get pounded by the media. If Pitt loses today, that means we lost every game to day, and willl be 2-3. :bang:

Damn, I apologize, man am I wrong. What a gutless, pathetic effort from the alleged 2nd best team in the conference. 03-puke

it's a long season, i wouldn't give up on pitt just yet, having said that pitt's lb's are slow and notre dame's o-line is pounding pitt. on paper this looked like a pitt win, but give credit to weiss this looks like a completely different nd team compared to last year. pitt's offense will be all right (although wannestadt needs to open it up more), but they need to make some changes on the defensive side of the ball if they expect to go 9-2 or 8-3. when all is said and done we should still have 2 teams in the top 25 and hopefully louisville can crack the top 10. gotta love the atmosphere of the game though, hopefully pitt can make it a close game in the 2nd half.

PITT

WHAT A  JOKE!!

BIG (L)EAST TODAY

I guess it's up to us and WVU tomorrow to salvage something of this weekend.

All fun aside, I'm pulling for a big second half comeback.

i know wannstadt is doing a good job recruiting but he doesn't impress me as a coach.....his players make stupid mistakes and he doesn't say anything....weiss's players make a mistake and he kicks their rear end....it may be different coaching styles, but one team looks disciplined and motivated....the other team is pitt

He's pulling the same crap at Pitt that he pulled at Miami. This guy NEVER takes chances on offense and is never the aggressor. He just goes with the flow and plays it safe. You have Palko at quarterback, and you're playing at home on national T.V. and you have 13 FREAKING POINTS!? What in the h*ll . .
