Then why did you put our names on your poll then. And you think that Rutgers has a chance of winning the conference?

The truth is that whoever wins the BE will go to the BCS game, even if they have 3 losses. ND will not if they have the same number of losses. If ND plays as well as they did against Pitt, they have a chance.

Good luck. 04-cheers

I think the Louisville@West Virginia game in late October will decide the Big East Conference Champion this season.

I have to agree: Louisville vs. WVU - winner takes all!

From the outset it appeared WVU had the most work to do among the title contenders. If that's still true today, they don't have as much ground to make up as I thought. Having Pitt and Louisville at home helps immensely, and arguably their toughest road trip, a season opener in conference at that, is now out of the way. Defense must stay strong though: Syracuse O is no Louisville.

I was about to post the same question Crew 03-confused
I keep seeing LU on the board as well . I'm guessing since Louisville is missing from the poll, some folks must think Louisville is LU???????

I think they both stand a decent chance of finishing ahead of Rutgers (unless the Knights can right their ship pronto).

DN would have a decent shot of winning it this year and going to a BCS game if they weren't independent. I will go with UL though as still the clear favorite until proven otherwise.
