I mentioned on the UofL Rivals board last night that 12th in each was the best we should hope for and thankfully we got it. I figured we'd stay the same in the AP due to passing the Sooners and Canes and having UGA and FSU jump us.

As for Coaches, UGA & FSU were already ahead of us so we passed the same two, Miami and OU to jump to 12th.

Not bad considering we played far from our best. Also shows a certain level or respect UofL did not get in the past following close wins. Not to say that I think we should or will continue to play that poorly.

I really like the make up of this new league. And I feel every team can hang with UL except maybe UC. I hope UL can crack the top 5 but it will behard for the cards. WVU,SU,Pittsburgh will not go down easy :)

Louisville still poised for top spots. Plenty of teams above them play each other, including the Big 2 of the Big Ten and the three powers of the SEC East.

Just a quick note why the Auburn win was so big for us Tech fans. Remaining schedule includes away games to ranked teams Miami, VT and UVA, and home games against UGA, NCSU and Clemson. Heaven only knows if Coach Gailey can keep the team together for the whole season. Yep, UConn is our "weakest" ooc opponent! Nice schedule... if it doesn't bite us in the arse!
