UofL Athletics is in need of a team National Championship; last one was 1986 with basketball; way too long.

Women's basketball is stocking up to challenge UConn in the coming years, but I also think Women's volleyball will make the next move. We have a new coach who is the perfect fit, and the city of Louisville is a hotbed for girl's High School and youth volleyball.

Congrats!

I wish TCU would bring back the men's soccer team they cut in the early 2000s.

WVU has a decent men's and women's soccer program. Right now though, the women's program is the better of the 2. They don't get a lot of support yet, since it's still a fairly recent invention in the mountains. But it is becoming more and more popular as time goes on...

As an SU fan I hope the Orange get their overall athletics as good as ND, UL, UConn, and WVU.

I believe we are on the right track now with TGD.

Yep, I never was implying we weren't OK (....and we actually won our last individual Track and Field Championship just a couple of months ago).

Your post adds to what I was saying in that we have now have a strong athletic department and it's not unrealistic to think we can take the next step and start bringing home some team National Championships.

USF has a very good soccer program and the new soccer stadium will make it easier to recruit. USF will be top 25 by the end of the year
