Big 12 teams and new conference...
Since there is lots swirling again out there in regards to the BE making some moves sans the usual suspects and the Big 12 turmoil fired up again, do you think the BE 8 would be open to some championship site rotation? Say we add mizzou, Kansas and k-state- would our current membership consider New York one year and Saint Louis the next for the basketball tournament or Dallas and Tampa being rotating sites for a football championship? These are things I think we'd be forced or at least should consider if it came to it.

Kansas City does a phenomenal job when they host the Big 12 basketball tournament. Not quite as central, but IMO a better basketball city than St. Louis.

Paul Brown Staduim would seem to be the geographical center of that league for football, but the bball would never get moved out of NYC

I don't know. I think the appeal of the Big East basketball tournament is that it's at the mecca.

At this time, MSG is a dump compared to places like the Prudential Center or Wells Fargo Center, but it's still the Garden, and it's still New York City.

I think a football championship game being at a neutral site could be a recipe for disaster, but I think Arrowhead or the EdwardJones Dome would be viable.

Agreed on MSG. It's the mecca. You don't mess with mecca.

Cheers,
Neil

The championship at Paul Brown would be pretty awesome.

Never ever moved the BET. Also they are going to upgrade MSG in a massive way according to the Dolans-(owners of the Knicks & MSG).

As for football, would rather have it @ a home site like the Pac 12 but if u have 2 have it @ a neutral site then only again have it on the biggest stage & that in NYC.
