RE: Rutgers 2012 recruiting
Rutgers just got a commitment from WR Leonte Caroo. He is rated the 7th best player in New Jersey (211 overall) by Rivals.com and the #15 WR in the country by Scout.com

Caroo was very important get for us. He is one of the Don Bosco Prep kids. Getting him to commit can only help with the others.

RE: Rutgers 2012 recruiting
For some reason Schiano has had a great deal of trouble getting the kids from the big prep schools in the Bergen/Hudson/Essex County areas. Many believe that this goes back to GS hiring Mike Miello as part of his first coaching staff. Supposedly this move somehow insulted Toal from DBP. Whatever the problem, it looks like GS has finally found a way to open the doors to these power schools. In the last couple years we have been able to pull kids out of Don Bosco, Bergen Catholic, Paramus Catholic, St. Peters and both St Joe's.
