When i think about the WVU-LSU matchup, one thing that intrigues is how each side manages the big coaching changes each has experienced this off-season. Will probably have a big impact, especially since this is still a relatively early-season game.

I do too, although in reality, Kragthorpe has been hired to be a QB coach more than OC at LSU. Miles has made it clear he reserves the right to have all his fingers in the offensive pie.

But other than games involving USF, i want to see WVU win this game more than i want to see any other Big East team win any other OOC game.

I'd like to say that USF visiting Notre Dame is the Big East OOC game of the year, but it's not. WVU hosting a top-shelf SEC power likely to be ranked in the top 5 at kickoff (possibly #1, if LSU beats Oregon and Mississippi State beforehand) is bigger. A win would be a huge boost for the conference.

If LSU gets past Oregon, and WVU beats LSU, the Mountaineers will be a good shot for the BCS Championship game, if they can go undefeated, and LSU wins the SEC west. If LSU wins the SEC, it's even better chances. If WVU is ever going to win a championship in my lifetime, this would be a great time for one. The schedule is setup to give them the chance. Now they just have to do it on the field...

I'm hopeful, like always. WVU is undefeated so far this season... 04-rock
